The Olympic Village in False Creek South is preparing to welcome a new neighbour to the east, Central by Onni, a unique three “tower” development unlike anything else in Vancouver. Bruce Haden and Joost Bakker, Central’s architects, are trying something different – deconstructing the vertical residential tower and laying an  8 storey “skybridge” horizontally across two 11 storey towers, one which will be for commercial use.

Many are speculating that this one-of-a-kind development, created with Feng Shui in mind, will be Vancouver’s most architecturally significant residential building when it completes in June 2014. Apart from the spectacular design, you’ll fall in love with the truly central location. Situated in Southeast False Creek, one of Vancouver’s last waterfront communities, you’ll be 30 seconds to the waterfront, steps to fresh grocers in historic Chinatown, and minutes to world-class dining, Robson Street shopping, and Granville Street entertainment.
